It has a distinct personality, strong power, and intentionally breaks the principles of traditional watch design. This amazing machine is driven by a special ‘engine’-the patented LUC Calibre 1TRM movement. The mechanical engine is mounted on a silent block and has a manually wound tourbillon movement, all arranged by Chopard Watchmaking Factory. Like the most desirable sports car, the LUC Engine One Tourbillon Tourbillon is undoubtedly available in a limited edition.
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Chopard and praise for decades of passion for world motorsport, this Geneva-based brand introduced this new LUC Engine One Tourbillon tourbillon watch, combining the essence of two mechanical elements. From stiff lines to the finest details, everything about this extraordinary watch is a tribute to the spirit of the car and a refined watch movement like a mechanical engine.
The LUC Engine One Tourbillon Tourbillon incorporates a patented mechanical manual winding tourbillon movement-LUC Calibre 1TRM. Like a car engine, the movement is mounted on a silent block, so it can withstand shocks-and is set in the center of the dial with a three-bar bridge. The design, development, and production of the LUC Calibre 1TRM movement are all handled by Chopard Watchmaking Factory, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 60-hour power reserve. This movement is certified by the Swiss Official Observatory (COSC) and is absolutely reliable and precise. The tourbillon movement is also equipped with hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve indicators.
In order to preserve the traditional characteristics of the car, the ‘engine’ is engraved with the classic Chopard mark; the ring part is directly fixed on the movement to promote the power reserve displayed at 12 o’clock and the tourbillon bridge at 6 o’clock. It was the first design for Chopard.
Representing the magnificent feat of mechanical engineering, the LUC Engine One Tourbillon tourbillon watch not only represents high-end motorization, but also the watch body is given a unique exquisite style. The titanium case is water-resistant to 50 meters and has a satin-finish finish. The slightly curved handles add dynamics to the entire design. Like the airfoil of a streamlined car, these handles perfectly fit the 35.4 x 44.4 mm dial To ensure the comfort and beauty of the wearer.
The design of the transparent dial is also inspired by the automotive world. Under the anti-glare sapphire crystal, the black hour mark of the new LUC series is engraved.
The hand-stitched black crocodile leather strap mimics the texture of a classic racing seat, showing what makes the watch special.
The limited edition of 150 LUC Engine One Tourbillon Titanium Watches is launched. While celebrating the 150th anniversary of Chopard, it vividly reflects the close relationship between Chopard’s excellent watches and the automotive world.
